Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team welcomes you and transfers you to your hotel in Kathmandu. After checking in, you have time to relax following your international journey.

Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the lively streets of Thamel, purchase any remaining expedition gear, or simply unwind before the adventure begins. During the evening, the expedition leader conducts an introductory briefing covering the itinerary, safety guidelines, equipment checklist, and mountain protocols.

Today is reserved for final expedition preparations.

The team verifies all climbing permits, domestic flight tickets, equipment, and luggage before departure to Lukla. Climbers can rent or purchase any remaining gear required for the expedition and spend the afternoon exploring Kathmandu if time permits.

A detailed climbing briefing introduces the acclimatization schedule, Everest Base Camp route, Lobuche Peak climbing strategy, and safety procedures.

An early morning mountain flight takes you to Lukla, one of the world’s most famous high-altitude airports.

After meeting the trekking crew and organizing luggage, the trek officially begins through beautiful Sherpa villages and pine forests towards Phakding.

Today’s walk is relatively easy, allowing everyone to gradually adjust to the mountain environment before bigger altitude gains in the coming days.

Today’s journey follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges before entering Sagarmatha National Park.

The final climb towards Namche Bazaar is one of the first major physical challenges of the expedition. Upon reaching Namche, trekkers are rewarded with magnificent mountain scenery and the vibrant atmosphere of Nepal’s most famous Himalayan town.

Instead of complete rest, today’s acclimatization hike leads towards Khumjung Valley, helping the body adapt to increasing altitude.

This gradual gain-and-return strategy significantly improves acclimatization before moving to higher elevations.

The rest of the day can be spent exploring Namche Bazaar, visiting local cafés, bakeries, museums, and mountain equipment shops.

Leaving Namche behind, today’s trail offers magnificent views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Thamserku.

The route gradually descends before climbing through forests and traditional villages towards Deboche.

The peaceful surroundings provide a relaxing overnight stop before continuing deeper into the Everest region.

Today’s trail enters increasingly alpine terrain as vegetation gradually becomes sparse.

The route follows the Imja Valley before reaching Dingboche, one of the most important acclimatization stops on the Everest trail.

As altitude increases, trekkers are encouraged to maintain a slow, steady pace, stay hydrated, and monitor their physical condition carefully.

A second acclimatization day prepares climbers for the higher elevations ahead.

Short hikes around Dingboche help the body produce additional red blood cells while providing spectacular panoramic views of surrounding Himalayan peaks.

Today’s route climbs steadily across glacial terrain towards Lobuche.

As the air becomes thinner, walking speed naturally decreases. Proper pacing, hydration, and nutrition become increasingly important.

Upon arrival, the team rests and prepares for the exciting Everest Base Camp excursion the following day.

Today is one of the most memorable days of the expedition.

After trekking to Gorakshep, the team continues towards the legendary Everest Base Camp. Standing beneath the world’s highest mountain is an unforgettable achievement for every trekker.

Following time at Base Camp, the team returns to Gorakshep for the night, preparing for tomorrow’s sunrise ascent to Kala Patthar before beginning the mountaineering phase of the expedition.

The day begins before sunrise with an early morning hike to Kala Patthar, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Himalayas. Unlike Everest Base Camp, Kala Patthar offers an uninterrupted panoramic view of Mount Everest along with Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, Lingtren, Changtse, and numerous snow-covered Himalayan giants.

Watching the first rays of sunlight illuminate the summit of Everest is one of the defining moments of this expedition. The golden light slowly spreads across the surrounding peaks, creating breathtaking views that reward every step of the climb.

After spending time at the viewpoint and capturing unforgettable photographs, the team descends back to Gorakshep for breakfast before retracing the trail to Lobuche Village.

Although the route is familiar, the descent allows trekkers to appreciate the dramatic glacial landscape from a different perspective. Walking becomes more comfortable as the body gradually adapts to the altitude, but everyone is encouraged to continue drinking plenty of water and maintaining a steady pace.

The afternoon is dedicated to rest and preparation for the upcoming climbing phase. The expedition leader reviews the summit strategy, checks personal equipment, and explains the following day’s move to High Camp.

Today marks the beginning of the mountaineering section of the expedition.

After breakfast, the team leaves the comfort of the tea houses and ascends toward Lobuche High Camp, situated at approximately 5,400 metres. The trail becomes steeper, rockier, and more rugged as the expedition moves into true alpine terrain.

The atmosphere changes dramatically as the expedition enters the camping phase. Professional support staff establish a fully equipped expedition camp that includes sleeping tents, dining tents, kitchen facilities, and all essential camping equipment.

Upon arrival, climbers are given time to rest before participating in the final summit briefing. The climbing team reviews the following topics:

Summit day is the most challenging and rewarding stage of the entire expedition.

The climbing team departs well before sunrise, making use of the colder snow conditions and stable early morning weather. Wearing helmets, harnesses, crampons, and other climbing equipment, climbers gradually ascend towards the summit under the guidance of professional Climbing Sherpas.

Unlike trekking peaks that involve only hiking, Lobuche Peak requires careful movement across rocky ridges, steep snow slopes, and technical sections where fixed ropes may be used depending on mountain conditions.

The pace is deliberately slow and controlled to conserve energy and maintain safety at extreme altitude.

As the team approaches the summit, the surrounding panorama expands dramatically, revealing an extraordinary collection of Himalayan giants including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori, and countless surrounding peaks stretching far into Tibet and Nepal.

Standing on the summit of Lobuche Peak is a remarkable achievement and a significant milestone for anyone beginning their Himalayan mountaineering journey.

After celebrating the summit and taking photographs, climbers begin the careful descent back to High Camp before continuing down to Lobuche Village.

The return journey requires as much concentration as the ascent, and every climber is expected to follow the instructions of the climbing team throughout the descent.

After reaching Lobuche Village, the team enjoys a well-earned rest and celebrates the successful summit.

With the climbing phase successfully completed, the expedition begins its gradual return through the Khumbu Valley.

Today’s descent towards Pangboche provides welcome relief as oxygen levels steadily increase.

The route passes through beautiful alpine landscapes, traditional Sherpa settlements, and centuries-old monasteries. Climbers often notice increased energy levels as they descend below 4,000 metres.

The peaceful village of Pangboche offers an ideal overnight stop following the demanding summit climb.

Sleeping Altitude: 3,440 m

The journey continues back toward Namche Bazaar.

Walking through familiar villages and suspension bridges allows climbers to reflect on the remarkable adventure they have completed.

The return to Namche also provides an opportunity to enjoy comfortable cafés, bakeries, souvenir shops, and local markets after many days spent in remote mountain environments.

Today’s route descends steadily through beautiful forests and traditional Sherpa villages.

As the expedition approaches lower elevations, breathing becomes noticeably easier, allowing everyone to enjoy the final trekking day at a relaxed pace.

The evening is often spent sharing stories, celebrating the successful expedition, and thanking the local guides and support team who made the journey possible.

The final trekking day brings the team back to Lukla, where the mountain journey first began.

Although the expedition is nearing completion, the trail still requires careful footing and steady walking until reaching Lukla.

Upon arrival, the team celebrates the successful completion of both the Everest Base Camp Trek and the Lobuche Peak Expedition.

The evening usually includes a farewell dinner with guides, porters, climbing Sherpas, and fellow climbers.

After breakfast, weather permitting, the team boards the return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.

The spectacular mountain flight offers one final opportunity to admire the Himalayan landscape from above before returning to Nepal’s bustling capital city.

The remainder of the day is free for shopping, sightseeing, or relaxing after the expedition.

This day is reserved as a contingency in case flights from Lukla are delayed due to poor weather.

If the expedition returns to Kathmandu as scheduled, climbers can spend the day exploring UNESCO World Heritage Sites, shopping in Thamel, or simply relaxing before their international departure.

The contingency day also provides flexibility for unexpected mountain weather or operational delays.
