After room allocation at the homestay, a team briefing introduces route orientation, safety instructions, medical awareness, and emergency protocols. Gear is checked thoroughly to ensure every climber has appropriate layering, protection, and mountaineering equipment.
• This is a crucial acclimatization day. A short walk around the town helps the body begin adjusting to altitude. In the evening, trekkers receive a presentation on the leadership structure, communication system, hydration strategy, nutrition approach, and expectations for summit night.

• The team departs early, driving through Solang Valley to Dhundi, the trek starting point. From here, the route gradually ascends through scenic alpine meadows with views of Hanuman Tibba and Shitidhar. • The pristine campsite of Bakarthatch is surrounded by open grassy fields, rocky faces, and grazing pastures used by shepherds. The sound of flowing glacial streams and breathtaking landscape provide an energizing atmosphere.

• This is a high-altitude acclimatization procedure used in most alpine expeditions.
• Trekkers carry partial load (equipment, essential materials, and rations) towards Summit Camp, spend some time adjusting, and descend back. This improves red blood cell generation and dramatically enhances summit success.
• The route climbs steep slopes and transitions into solid snow terrain, introducing real summit route conditions.
• Once back at base camp, trekkers will rest, rehydrate, and consume high-calorie dinner for recovery.

• With full packs, the team now shifts permanently to Summit Camp. The route demands steady pacing and coordination while navigating through steep snowy tracks. Arrival at camp is rewarded by incredible vistas of Hanuman Tibba and snow-covered ridges.
• The summit briefing is conducted in the evening, outlining goal timings, turn-around policies, emergency plan, rope groups, and communication signals.

• Summit push begins between 1:00 AM – 2:00 AM, when snow is hard and winds are manageable. Each participant moves in rope teams with professional guidance.
• The route begins with a slow gradient before entering a long steep snow section. Efficiency in crampon grip and consistent breathing rhythm are essential. As dawn approaches, the first colors of sunrise illuminate the ridge. The final summit ridge demands focus and teamwork.
• Reaching the Friendship Peak summit at 5289m is a moment of triumph. The panoramic Himalayan view includes Hanuman Tibba, Indrasan, Deo Tibba, Shetidhar, Seven Sisters & Beas Kund Glacier—a breathtaking reward for physical and mental effort.
• Photos, celebrations, gratitude and emotional achievement define the summit experience.
• After spending controlled time on top, the descent begins carefully, returning to Lady Leg Base Camp for rest.
